For the fourteenth year the Kelowna Art Gallery is highlighting the artwork created by students in Kelowna's public and private schools, from kindergarten to grade 12, with the exhibition ART IN ACTION 2000.

The exhibition took several days to hang approximately 280 works with the help of student volunteers under the guidance of Head of Education: Dona Moore, Education Assistant: Renee Burgess and Installation Technician: Joel de Pfyffer.

April 30th 2000 marked the ART FEST opening reception for Art in Action. All the arts under one roof which included music and dance performances by talented students from throughout Kelowna.
