This exhibition features a series of prints by Johann James Feught that draw inspiration from architectural forms and European stained glass motifs juxtaposed to reveal a relationship between interior and exterior spaces.

Feught uses a new, non – toxic etching method that incorporates a computer imaging technique called “Imagon”. He recently introduced this printmaking technique to an international summer academy in Hamburg, Germany.

Born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1947, Johann James Feught received his Master of Visual Arts at the University of Alberta in Edmonton 1984. He has had a multi-faceted career that successfully balanced the roles of artist, teacher and designer. He is currently a Fine Art and Design professor at the Okanagan University College in Kelowna. Feught has worked as a Design Coordinator, freelance designer and consultant in Canada, Germany and New York. Some of his major exhibit and design displays include The Calgary Museum of the Regiments, Olympique Calgary Olympics, Provincial Archives of Alberta Touring Museum, and International displays in Lausanne, Switzerland, and New York.
