| Welcome to the
Kelowna Art Gallery’s Collection page. The permanent collection of the
gallery was begun in 1976, and formed the kernel and impetus for the
development of the gallery itself the following year. The collection now
comprises several hundred works, and contains works in painting, drawing,
photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Most works are by contemporary
Canadian artists, and to date the collection has a focus on Okanagan
artists, as well as artists from other areas of BC.
Eventually we plan to have an image of each
work in the permanent collection accessible from this page. In the
meantime, by clicking on the link below to the page on our Nexus
exhibition, you can browse through images of the seventy-six works from
