The Front project space

The Public Programming Department curates The Front project space in Kiwanis Hall, the Hiram Walker Classroom, and Scotiabank Studio. These exhibitions are organized in partnership and collaboration with community organizations such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and the Women’s Resource Centre, engage diverse audiences, and include groups underrepresented in the community. Community Art Project Exhibitions build community relationships, attract new audiences, and are free of charge to the public.

This summer, the Kelowna Sculptors Network Society will exhibit their artwork in  Kiwanis Hall.  The KSNS is a non-profit society dedicated to promoting public awareness and appreciation of sculpture through workshops and demonstrations.
Art in Action 2007: Spaces Between

The Kelowna Art Gallery is pleased to host Art in Action 2007: Spaces Between. This year, high school students were asked to explore the spaces or recesses of their imagination, and express their own creative vision of life through painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing and photography.

In the Spirit of N'ha-a-itk is a first-time collaboration between the Kelowna Art Gallery and Okanagan and Westbank First Nation. This exhibition showcases the artwork of talented contemporary aboriginal artists while creating an invaluable opportunity for the public to learn about local First Nations culture.
