Through
hands-on activities, helpful instructions, and age-appropriate information
and questions, Family Sundays opens up the world of art and artists
for children and adults by providing opportunities to engage, discover,
and create.
Cost
for Family Sundays is $3.00 per participant.
We
have many varied projects planned as inspired by our diverse exhibits or
special events. All the projects are open-ended so even if you come to do
the project a second time, you can end up with a completely different
result. You may even like it better the second time!

Take the opportunity to explore different
media used by artists with the eclectic exhibitions we have this year. Be
inspired by the We Are Artists, Kelowna Collects, Joice M. Hall:
Surreal. Real. Ideal., and the Art in Action exhibitions as
well as the work in the Dysfunctional Chairs series.
In celebration of our community and the
world’s largest sporting event, we have created several Family
Sundays that capture the spirit of the winter Olympics.
Special days to celebrate include Valentine’s
Day, Chinese New Year, Easter, and the beginning of Spring. Artist
Trading Cards to trade with fellow artists can be made on the last
Sunday of each month.
