Exhibition Proposal Guidelines
[Exhibition proposals are accepted on an ongoing basis]

Your exhibition proposal to the Kelowna Art Gallery should include:

A Covering Letter – Addressed to the Curator.  Please introduce yourself and your project.

A Curriculum Vitae – This should include your address, phone number and email, education,
exhibition history, related teaching experience or other employment related to your art. Please
also include mention of awards and scholarships, bibliography of reviews or articles.

Published Information – Please append relevant copies of reviews or articles.

An Artist’s Statement – Please describe the focus of your recent work and your objectives.

Images (Slides or CD) – Include 10 to 20 images of the work that you are proposing to 
exhibit.  Slides should be in a plastic sheet, labeled and numbered to match a corresponding
image list.  Do not send original works of art.

An Image List – Include a list of images with corresponding numbers as well as title of work,
media, year of completion and dimensions.

A Self-addressed Stamped Envelope – Include adequate postage for return of material.
Envelope should be padded or lined with cardboard.

Please note that the Gallery's exhibition schedule is booked one to two years in advance.
