Part 2-Kelowna Art Gallery Visit
  • Part Two begins with a" Behind the Scenes Tour" of the Kelowna Art Gallery -introducing the students to our facility and the LAYOUT of its two floor plans.
  • During the Tour, the students are given the opportunity to observe and discuss how the architect designed the building to meet the needs of a public art gallery.
  • Following the Tour, the students return to the gallery classroom for a hands-on activity.
  • Based on the function and the needs of their building, the students are then asked to make a floor plan of the first floor of their building. The floor plan must include a LEGEND.
